This is a guide to understanding and appreciating
retro furniture.

Retro can mean anything from the past, but usually
refers to the period from the 50s to the 70s when
people developed a taste for modern design and
rejected more traditional styles.

Retro furniture is modern furniture made in the 50s, 60s or 70s, or new furniture made in the style popular in those decades.

Whether you are looking for that finishing touch to enhance a room or to completely furnish your home, you will find it all at Junk n Disorderly.

Junk n Disorderly was started by Patrick Sheehy & Family in 2012. We cater for a diverse range of tastes, with lots of styles, sizes and functions. Whether you prefer traditional, retro, vintage, rustic, funky, mid-twentieth century, or modern revamped, we always have something in stock for you to choose from.

Our wide range of individual pieces can be further personalised by choosing your preferred colour and finish for any item that you buy.

We buy only well-made and interesting pieces of furniture, which we then set about
re-energising and 'upcycling' to suit modern-day living. Not only will you be saving money and getting a fantastic bespoke piece of furniture by buying from us, but you’ll be contributing to the welfare of the environment by being green; no more trees need to be felled to make your dining table!

We are able to offer Workshops/Classes on how to up cycle your furniture using Chalk Paint™

We are Stockist's of Annie Sloan Chalk Paint™.
